HURRAY! He's finally back!!

I did my happy butt dance for like 45 minutes when he FINALLY decided to come back.
I was so excited to see the tall guy, I forgot to ask him if he brought me anything.
Can you guess what he brought me?

If your person asks if you want to watch a slide show of their vacation pictures,
the answer is NO THANK YOU!
Unless of course you have nothing to do for like 800 hours.
And if you fall asleep during the slide show,
you will have to watch it
just in case you missed something.

So, here's a saying to help you remember:
If there's a slide show you must see,
Before it starts, make sure you pee!
And when the lights get turned down low,
That's a signal for you to GO!

Note from the tall guy: It wasn't 800 hours. Besides, 2392 pictures can't do full justice to the GRAND CANYON/SEDONA. Each picture tells a story, or there's a story you have to tell with each picture, or something like that.

  1. I get what woo we saying Jakhk - I won't let the Tall Guy taint my opinion of woo!

  2. So glad HE'S BACK!!! Whew! We hope he had a grand (or graham) time. We'll check out a few photos!

    Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
    Sierra Rose

  3. Yahoo and yipee, he is back. I am so happy for you Jack and I am doing a happy dance too in your honor. I know what you mean about the pictures, I get fidgety and bark a lot and they usually let me out of it. Good luck.

    Happy Thanksgiving
    licks and sniffs, Sasha

  4. Nice work on the happy butt dance Jack - when you show them lots of enthusiasm they will think twice before planning another vacation :)

  5. Woof! Glad tall guy is back. Happy dance is great way to welcome him. The Grand Canyon is a wonderful place to visit - fantastic view n you can't resist on taking gazillion photos. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  6. Yea he's back! When you are training a reliable recall you have to be very positive and happy when they come back to you even if you were mad that they wandered off so if he got a 45min happy dance I bet he is going to come 'right back' from now on!
TG: yeah, I have heard that dogs don't get pointing (from a behaviorist I worked with) but it seems like Moose sorta gets it. It is nice since I am lazy!

  7. I am very happy that the Tall Guy has returned. I am very sorry for you that you have to watch a bunch of pictures....I think you should just be playing ball!

  8. Seems that you just got your Thanksgiving PURResent! We are furry happy that you are, again, in the loving arms of your dadda.

  9. Jack, the love for TG shows in your eyes!!!

TG, did you see those funky Kaibab/ tassel-eared squirrels at the canyon?

  10. Glad the Tall Guy finally got back to you! Although I'm at a loss for why he'd ever leave you? - Abbey

  11. So glad the Tall Guy is back Jack! Whew that's a LOT of pictures to sit through:) Hope you guys have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  12. Woo Hoo!!! So glad he came back...but that slide show thingy, the trick is ti sit RIGHT UPCLOSE and make sure you get tummy rubs the WHOLE time. That will at least make it a bit more bearable!

    Happy Thanksgiving Smileys!
    Dory and Bilbo

  13. Uh, Jack, we tend to agree with you. Our hu-dad has hundreds of pictures of everything - don't even get him started.

  14. Well that is great news that he made it back!!! I can understand about the slide show - mom always makes me sit thru them.

Note from Mom to TG: Hope you had a fantastic trip - lucky you sedona!!!! Hope you enjoyed.

  15. Gee - I've been out of the loop for a few days & didn't even know the TG was missing. Well, glad he found his way back home. Did you punish him Jack or were you just happy to see him? I've read stories about pets who travel hundreds of miles to get back home. Guess some people do too.

  16. Jack - you are one sweet looking puppy!!

  17. Jack thanks for the advice about seeing vacation pcitures....When my Dad's brother returned from Egypt we too had to look at 800+ pictures. I didn't know one could take that many pictures of pyramids.
    Welcome home TG,
    Madi and Mom
